A beachfront apartment in Netanya — wake up to the Mediterranean

The entrance to the supervised beach is at the foot of the building, and the balcony curves out over the coastline. Inside: three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a table for six and a kitchen set up for religious families — room for eight, a Mamad safe room and free parking on the premises.

The living room opens onto a wide, curved balcony that hangs over the coastline — sunrise coffee and sunset drinks both happen out here. Inside there are two sofas, an armchair, a dining table for six and a kitchen with a central island, set up with religious families in mind, with a dishwasher and a Nespresso machine.

Three bedrooms and two bathrooms, one with a rain shower, take up to eight guests — the one to book when the whole family is coming. The main bedroom faces the sea, the others have their own wardrobes and air conditioning, and the apartment has its own Mamad, a reinforced safe room. A washer and dryer make longer stays easy.

The entrance to the supervised beach is at the foot of the building, Kikar HaAtzmaut and the promenade are a few minutes' walk, and parking on the premises is free — which is what makes Shabbat here simple: nothing you need over the weekend requires a car.

Why cheaper? No platform commission. Airbnb adds a guest service fee and takes a host fee; booking direct skips both, and the difference stays with you.

GOOD TO KNOW

Questions guests ask before booking

Are the apartments suitable for Shabbat? Is there a plata and an urn?

Yes, and Liad regularly hosts Shabbat-observant guests. The three central apartments — the Ussishkin Rooftop, Seafront Panorama and the Sunset Jacuzzi Residence — are a short walk from synagogues in the centre of Netanya; for the Park & Sea Tower Apartment in the south of the city, tell us which synagogue you need and we will give you the real walking time. A Shabbat hot plate (plata) and a hot-water urn can typically be arranged — mention it in your booking request and we will confirm what is already in the apartment and how entry to the building works on Shabbat.

Is there a Shabbat elevator?

It depends on the building, and it is one of the first things we settle with you. The Ussishkin Rooftop is in a building with an elevator; for the other three we confirm the floor, the elevator and whether it runs in Shabbat mode on Saturday before you book, rather than guessing on a listing page. Tell us if stairs are a concern and we will give you the exact details for the apartment you are considering.

Is parking available?

The Park & Sea Tower Apartment and Seafront Panorama both have free parking on the premises. For the Ussishkin Rooftop and the Sunset Jacuzzi Residence, ask us — if you are arriving by car, tell us and we will confirm the parking option for that apartment before you book. Central Netanya and the seafront are walkable, so many guests do not need a car during their stay.

Are children welcome, and can we get a baby cot or high chair?

Absolutely — most of our guests are families. A travel cot and a high chair can typically be provided on request; mention it in the notes of your booking request and we will confirm availability. The Park & Sea Tower Apartment has two single beds in the second bedroom and a playground beside the building; the Ussishkin Rooftop's terrace is walled, but children should be supervised outdoors and on balconies.

Are pets allowed?

Pets are considered case by case rather than by a blanket rule. Tell us about your pet (type and size) when you request to book, and Liad will confirm whether the apartment you chose can accept it and whether an extra cleaning fee applies.

Is there a Mamad (protected room) or a shelter?

Yes. All four apartments have a Mamad — a reinforced safe room inside the apartment itself — so there is no need to go down to a shared or public shelter. At check-in we show you where it is and how it works.

Is there air conditioning?

Yes. All four apartments have air conditioning in the living room and the bedrooms (at Seafront Panorama in every bedroom), and it is included in the price.

Are bed linen and towels included?

Yes. Every stay includes fresh bed linen made up before you arrive and bath towels for each guest. The Ussishkin Rooftop also provides beach gear — beach towels, chairs and an umbrella; for the other apartments, ask us about beach towels when you book. For longer stays, a mid-stay change of linen can be arranged on request.

Is there Wi-Fi?

Yes. All four apartments have fast Wi-Fi at no extra cost, with a reliable connection throughout the apartment — fine for remote work and video calls.

What are the check-in and check-out times?

Check-in is typically from 15:00 and check-out by 11:00. When the apartment is free the night before or after, an earlier arrival or a later departure is often possible — ask and we will confirm. For Shabbat we are flexible: arrival before candle-lighting on Friday, and departure after Shabbat ends when the calendar allows.

Can we arrive late at night?

Yes. The Ussishkin Rooftop has a lockbox for self check-in, so you can let yourself in at any hour; at the other apartments, entry is arranged with Liad in advance. Either way you deal directly with Liad rather than a reception desk, so a late arrival — after a late flight, for example — is fine. Tell us your expected arrival time and we send clear instructions on WhatsApp.

What is the cancellation policy?

Cancellation terms are confirmed in writing with your booking, before any payment is taken. As a rule, the earlier you cancel the more is refunded; for peak dates (Jewish holidays, July–August) stricter terms may apply. Ask Liad for the exact terms for your dates before you confirm.

How do I pay, and is there a deposit?

No payment is taken until Liad personally confirms availability. Once confirmed, you receive a secure payment link; typically an advance payment secures the booking and the balance is paid before arrival — confirm the exact split with Liad. Prices are in Israeli shekels (₪). For some apartments a refundable security deposit may be requested and returned after the stay.

How do I book directly, and why is it cheaper?

Choose your dates on the apartment page and send a request to book, or message Liad on WhatsApp. Liad checks the calendar, confirms and sends a payment link. The direct price is lower because no platform commission or service fee is added on top — and you talk to the person who actually manages the apartment, before and during your stay.

Which apartment is right for my group?

Pick by the one thing you want most. Seafront Panorama (3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, up to 8) is the one on the sand — the beach entrance is at the foot of the building. The Sunset Jacuzzi Residence (3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, up to 9) is the largest and the one with a hot tub on the balcony. The Ussishkin Rooftop (2 bedrooms, up to 6) gives you a private rooftop terrace and the city centre on foot without a car. The Park & Sea Tower Apartment (2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, up to 5) is the quiet one for a young family — free parking and a playground beside the door.

Where exactly are the apartments?

All four are in Netanya, Israel: the Ussishkin Rooftop on Ussishkin Street in the city centre, Seafront Panorama on the seafront, the Sunset Jacuzzi Residence near Kikar HaAtzmaut, and the Park & Sea Tower Apartment in a newer residential tower in the south of the city. The exact address is shared with your booking confirmation; send us the synagogue, hospital or family address you need to be near and we will tell you the real walking time.

How many people can sleep at Seafront Panorama?

Seafront Panorama sleeps up to eight guests in three bedrooms, with two bathrooms (one with a rain shower) — the one to book for an extended family or a group of friends who want to be on the sand. The dining table seats six, the kitchen has a central island, a dishwasher and a Nespresso machine, and there is a washer and dryer for longer stays. If you need a ninth bed, the Sunset Jacuzzi Residence takes nine.

Does Seafront Panorama really have a sea view?

Yes. The living room opens onto a wide, curved balcony directly over the coastline, and the main bedroom faces the sea, so you see the water from the pillow. The entrance to the supervised beach is at the foot of the building, and Kikar HaAtzmaut and the promenade are a few minutes on foot.

We loved staying in this beautiful apartment overlooking the beach. The apartment was recently completely renovated with beautiful furnishings and finishes. Haim was a caring host whom we enjoyed getting to meet. Great location, just a short walk to the beach and along the boardwalk to many restaurants. Highly recommended!
